No surprise here

The Courier just published  “The Woodlands Township elections get ‘ugly’ over advertising war” reporting on the battle for hearts and minds being waged by Crony Bruce Tough and Resident’s Advocates lead by Gordy Bunch.

The story tells how Tough’s Concerned Taxpayers , a developer front organization is spending wildly to promote their disinformation project along with Courier claims that the Patriots PAC is engaging in is own disinformation related to possible future annexation.

Here’s the great part. The Courier calls on an elected official for what we assume is meant to be informed and impartial comment. They go to committed developer stooge of the week Mark Keough who pipes in with

“The idea that we as a community should be afraid of this ( annexation ) happening is unfounded,” Keough said.

But as we reported previously in “KEOUGH : INCORPORATED WOODLANDS TO CRATER” Keough can only be expected to toe the line for crony developers by steering people away from any idea of developer free self government in a future home rule city scenario.

See what Keough had to say about city status for the woodlands in committee last legislative session.
