CITY COUNCIL REJECTS CONGRESSMANS IRRESPONSIBLE PORK

The STAR-TELEGRAM reports that City of Grandview Texas

is rejecting their Congressman’s pork. Funds secured by Congressman Chet Edwards for a water tower were deemed as “irresponsible pork-barrel politics according to a resolution approved Feb. 4, by council members.

“The city of Grandview does not believe such funding is ethical or constitutional,” the resolution stated. It also said that the city does not need the new water tower according to the Star-Telegram article.
