BRADY FAILED CAREER PATH ILLUSTRATED
Franco campaign unveils Brady career chart
The Franco for Congress campaign has released the Organizational Chart of Kevin Brady’s Career.
“The chart is a visual representation of the failed leadership of Brady which includes getting arrested while in office, squandering the historic Republican majority and voting for bailouts twice,” said Melecio Franco, candidate for U.S. Congress in the Texas 8th Congressional Distict.
Other failures in Brady’s career include his hollow request for earmark reform and bringing government employees to campaign events.
“I hope that this chart helps voters see the excuses, inconsistencies and hypocrisies of Mr. Brady’s career,” said Franco. “It is time to rebuild the Republican Party with new leadership. If Mr. Brady could not accomplish his goals in the Republican Majority from 2001 to 2006, he will never accomplish them in the minority. After 14 years in office, he has tried his best and failed. Vote Franco for Congress in the March 2 Republican Primary.”
The Chart accurately depicts the disappointing history of the Brady years and the Brady Congress and illustrates why voters need to pick a new and true conservative to represent them in November. Footnotes supporting all elements of the chart are listed below.
Additionally a chart below illustrates the growth of National Debt while Congress was under Republican rule which seems to support Franco’s charge that the during Brady’s years in congress he did in fact squander the Republican majority advantage at least as far as debt ans spending goes. Per capita debt grew from $20,000 in 1997 when Brady took office to $29,000 when the Republican majority was lost.
Franco is an award-winning journalist. He is also a former staffer and speechwriter for Congressman Ted Poe. He is running for congress to reduce federal spending, cut taxes and reduce illegal immigration. For more information, visit www.francoforcongress.com
