GUILTY MAYOR RESIGNS
Fred O’Conner pleads guilty to conflict of interest misdemeanor
January 31, 2010
Houston television KPRC Channel 2 is reporting that Fred O’Connor has resigned his position as Mayor of the City of Oak Ridge North in the wake of an investigation and charges of conflict of interest related to O’Connor’s involvement with Biofuels Inc.
O’Connor served as both mayor of the city and CEO of Biofuels. According to the story on Click2Houston.com
The Montgomery County DA’s office has reached an agreement with O’Connor to accept a plea of guilty to misdemeanor charges. There is no mention of whether resignation was part of the agreement or not.
The story quotes O’Connor’s attorney who stated “The city has lost the smartest and best CEO it’s ever had.”

How will we ever recover from such a terrible blow? The city has lost the brilliant insight of the smartest and best CEO it has ever had. I for one will be mourning for a week.
If the city lost it’s smartest and best CEO ever, are the rest in jail?
What I’d like to know is whether the prosecutor’s office would have agreed to such a lenient “misdemeanor” deal with a common mundane who did not hold a sanctified public office position. People who get stopped for going 10 miles over the speed limit are treated worse than this (again, unless they are part of the protected superior “public servant” class).

No Investigation Ms. Knight?
Tough and Stibbs are office partners. Chamber presidents. Something smells bad.
THE FIRST ONE TO TALK GETS THE BEST DEAL.

O’Conner/Biofuels has an Attorney
Imagine my surprise when I found out who the attorneys are.Mayor Fred O’Connor former TS board member-none other than Township board member Bruce Tough, who has been rattling sabers over at ORN. Bruce, you need to have raddled a couple thousand miles North.I really couldn’t believe that Brett Strong another TS attorney is also in there and low and behold, Jack Stibbs office for Biofuels. Is it the $272,000 we pay to ORN from the TS that makes you feel obligated? Oh, by the way that is Tax money
Nelda Blair has the attachment to this one also.
