COUNTY REPUBLICANS DECRY SPENDING
Just not our county…..
It takes Republicans to press conservative issues and put a stop to wasteful spending. In our county Republican luminaries like Nelda Blair praise and promote $2.1 Million in theft based initiatives otherwise know as federal grants as reported here
Meanwhile, the Brazos County Republican Party Chair decries funds for BTD and others in a recent column -
Paul Rieger, chair of the Brazos County Republican Party, said some of the projects appear to be worthy, but that the No. 1 priority should be balancing the budget.
“We cannot spend money that we don’t have,” he said. “How far do we have to be in debt before it is clearly understood that we simply do not have the money to be spending on these projects? … The United States of America is virtually bankrupt
Is it possible to only join the Brazos County Republicans?

Wake up Republicans. There is a financial disaster looming for our country, state and county. People will be furious when the consequences of your irresponsible behavior is realized. You will be held accountable. Your name will be synonymous with shame and disgrace.
I want to reply to this. I am running for congress in the 8th district.
As congressman, I can help with this frivolous local spending. As you know, federal projects require a local match. I will not vote for frivolous federal spending. This will prevent the special “The Woodlands” projects from getting federal money or local matches.
